Las Vegas, NV, April 7, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – excited about NewMediaWire – Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP), a global leader in industrial hemp with bi-coastal processing centers, is pleased to announce that the New York State legalizes recreational marijuana use and adopts a strongly worded program to reinvest millions of dollars in tax revenues from cannabis in minority communities damaged by the decades-long war on drugs.

New York became the 15th state to legalize the recreational use of cannabis and positioned itself to quickly become one of the largest markets for legal cannabis in the nation. This is a huge hit in the hemp industry. Hemp Inc. supports government legalization of industrial hemp, which can help expand the hemp market where hemp products can be bought and sold.

The legislation (S.854-A / A.1248-A) would set up the Office of Cannabis Management to implement a detailed legal framework that covers medicinal hemp, adult hemp, and cannabinoid hemp. The bill would also expand New York State’s existing medical marijuana and cannabinoid hemp programs. The legislation provides licenses for marijuana producers, distributors, dealers and other actors in the cannabis market, and creates a social and economic justice program to support those disproportionately affected by cannabis enforcement and who wish to participate in the industry.

The development of an adult cannabis industry in New York state under this legislation has the potential to offer significant economic opportunities for New Yorkers and the state, including hemp producers across the country. The tax collection is expected to reach $ 350 million a year and has the potential to create 30,000 to 60,000 new jobs in the state.

The New York State Cannabis / Marihuana Regulation & Taxation Act contains the provisions to establish the Office of Cannabis Management, charged with enforcing a framework for medical cannabinoid hemp for adults. It would be governed by a five-member board of directors, three of whom are appointed by the governor and one appointment from each house. OCM would be an independent bureau that operates as part of the New York State Liquor Authority.

The Cannabis / Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act also includes the provisions for medical cannabis, adult cannabis, cannabinoid hemp, adult cannabis tax revenue, communal opt-out, traffic safety, personal property and home growing, criminal justice and record erasure . This is a huge achievement for New York and will pave the way for Hemp Inc. to enter other markets and territories.

Hemp, Inc. is also marketing focused and is currently negotiating with a network marketing company to launch several new products in various niche markets. Digital marketing campaigns are in the works including planning exhibition booths at all concerts and events in the Veteran Village Kins communities. The company also sells direct to retail stores and distributes through all King of Hemp stores opening across America this year. Online distributors such as NaturalExposureCBD.com also carry the products.

The company recently added its second brand (Billy Hayes) to the King of Hemp® line, which is already made from Bubba Kush hemp. CBD pre-rolls, fortified CBD pre-rolls, CBD and CBG caviar / moon rocks; and diamonds (that’s 96% -98.7% CBD, the only product of its kind on the market today). According to executives, one of its distributors is selling a limited number of signed and numbered Billy Hayes CBG pre-rolls as collectibles for $ 100 each.
