TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – The Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Hemp Advisory Board will meet on March 19th.
The Kansas Department of Agriculture has announced that its industrial hemp advisory board will meet on Friday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. via conference call. The board will discuss changes and modifications to the rules and regulations of the Kansas Commercial Industrial Hemp Program based on the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s final rule to establish a domestic hemp production program.
According to the KDA, the meeting will be open to the public and those wishing to attend the meeting should contact Braden Hoch, director of the plant protection and weed control program for industrial hemp, at Braden.Hoch@ks.gov.
