PARLIER, Calif. (KFSN) – Cannable, a local cannabis dispensary, opened its first storefront in Parlier Thursday afternoon after offering a delivery service for nearly two years.
Jeff Tuel, vice president of sales and marketing, said their efforts began before the pandemic in 2017. In February 2020 they started “Cannable Delivery”.
“It took a long time to get that delivery license, to build the facility, and when COVID hit people were stranded at home, so obviously the timing just worked,” said Jeff Tuel, vice president of sales and marketing.
Their delivery service primarily serves customers in the Fresno area and currently has the closest storefront to town
Tuel says the opportunity to open a stationary location in Parlier is a win, especially since Fresno is months away from open pharmacies.
“I know a lot of my friends and people I know who go to Merced or Woodlake, Farmerville, and this is the closest place now,” he said. “In addition, the delivery is still in progress.”
They used the data collected by their delivery service to prepare this place with the right products.
He believes the industry is growing fast and says that most of the people who buy CBD products for medicinal purposes stop by.
“Men and women of all ages and probably the main complaint was body ache,” Tuel said. “A lot of good things happen in the industry that help the consumers we sometimes call patients.”
Their goal is to expand into central California, saying that with demand, it’s only a matter of time before more cities jump on board.
“The industry as a whole is on a rocket ship,” said Tuel. “I have a feeling that communities like Parlier take advantage of this early on.”
Tuel says they now have an express delivery option averaging 20 minutes depending on your location.
This location is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
