As part of the summer reading program, the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) will present “The History of Cannabis and Its Prohibition” on Tuesday, July 27th at 6pm on Zoom.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom login.
In this presentation with Dr. David L. Nathan learn more about the history of society’s relationship with cannabis. Instead of legends and myths about the plant, primary sources are presented. After the presentation there will be time for questions.
Nathan is a New Jersey-based psychiatrist, counselor, educator, and author who is a leading advocate for evidence-based drug policy change that follows principles of public health and social justice.
Doctors for Cannabis Regulation founder and chairman of the board, Nathan, has published numerous articles on the subject for local, national and international news agencies.
