Synchronicity Broadcasts New ISO 17025 Accreditation, Turning into the First In-Home Colorado Hemp Producer to Meet Finest Apply Requirements

BOULDER, Colo., May 11, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Synchronicity’s Spectrum Testing Lab today announced ISO 17025 accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation. This recognizes systems that are in place in the facility to ensure that product tests are accurate and meet national best practice standards. The Spectrum Testing Lab is also the first in-house laboratory to work on behalf of a hemp manufacturer Colorado accredited to this standard and complements its impressive list of existing certifications.

ISO 17025 accreditation and certification enables the laboratory to conduct third party testing. The Spectrum Testing Lab can offer potency tests for hemp plants or oil samples infused with hemp. This test gives the amount of seven cannabinoids including CBD, CBDA, THC, THCA, CBG, CBN, and CBC. Before ISO 17025, the Spectrum Testing Lab was ISO 9001/2015, ISO 22716, ANSI 173 accredited and GMP certified.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a global organization that defines best practice requirements for the manufacturing industry. Some of the standards required for ISO 17025 certification include validated methods, calibrated measuring equipment, and qualified personnel trained to perform accurate tests in accordance with national standards established by ISO.

“As the hemp industry continues to grow, more and more regulations are being put in place. This ISO accreditation shows that we only make the highest quality products and ensure that they are safe for our customers. Standards are important to ensure everyone in the industry , including retailers, can assess the quality of hemp products and select manufacturers they can trust, “said the CEO of Synchronicity. Andrew Campbell.

The ISO writes standards, but does not certify companies. Accreditation is granted by other organizations through a review process that reviews a company’s written policies and procedures, observes company personnel performing tasks, and reviews records. The Spectrum Testing Lab, the Functional Remedies Synchronicity Lab, is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, one of the two largest organizations offering accreditation in the United States

“This is a tremendous achievement for the company that sets us apart from other hemp companies. There are no other hemp producers, manufacturers or sellers Colorado with an ISO 17025 accredited in-house laboratory, “said Dr. Webb, Director of the Analytical Laboratory, Functional Remedies.” An in-house laboratory enables us to test cost-effectively and shorten the processing time in the manufacture of our product. “
