A Massachusetts company says it set a record for baking the world’s largest cannabis-infused brownie, which measures three feet by three feet and is filled with 20,000 milligrams of THC.
The average joint contains 320 milligrams of the drug, which means the 850-pound brownie is loaded with enough THC to roll 63 marijuana cigarettes.
MariMed Inc., the cannabis company that made the sweet treat, unveiled it on December 8th – National Brownie Day – to celebrate its new brand, Bubby’s Baked.
His PR stunt caught the attention of late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, who joked about the brownie during his Wednesday night monologue.
The show shared a picture of pastry chefs posing near the giant baked goods and zoomed in on the face of a man who seemed particularly delighted with the creation.
“Gosh, I wonder which of you tasted this brownie,” Kimmel said. “And when asked why they made the biggest brownie in the world, no one could remember it.”

The Guinness World Record for the largest brownie belongs to Something Sweet Bake Shop in Daphne, Alabama, which whipped up a 234-pound brownie on September 12, 2013.
If this were confirmed, MariMed’s creation would break that record with its dessert, which is more than three and a half times the size.
The company originally planned to sell the giant piece of chocolate to a medical patient in Massachusetts, but found it too logistically difficult, spokesman Howard Schacter told DailyMail.com.
“We’re trying to figure out what to do,” he said.
